Fashionably captivating every room that she enters, Marlo P. Hampton is best known as a peach holder on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Dedicated to family, fashion, and fun, Marlo is making headlines as a business owner, philanthropist, and her favorite title, MUNTY (mom/auntie)! With a warm heart and confident stride, the uniqueness of this southern beauty from St. Petersburg, FL is undeniable. 

Recently featured on Vogue.com, Marlo’s newest business venture, “Lé Archive”, allows stylist, costume designers, and fashion directors to browse and rent from Marlo’s personal collection of over 5,000 archive designer fashions to dress their entertainment industry clients. Additionally, Marlo enthusiastically serves as a Tastemaker and Style Ambassador, forging a Fendi and Friends partnership, lifestyle event hosting with Gucci, charity shopping events with MCM, and styling for television projects such as MTV’s Caught in the Act: Unfaithful starring Tami Roman. 

In 2019, Marlo’s world abruptly changed when she stepped into the official title of “Munty”! Accepting custody of her two nephews, Michael (16)  and William (14), Marlo entered an experience of uncharted waters that continues to bring unconditional love and joy to her life. Raising two young men, Marlo maximizes every opportunity to shower them with love, support their dreams, and teach them how to succeed in life. 

Committed to philanthropy, Marlo founded Glam it Up, Inc.,  in 2011 to encourage young girls in the foster care system to pursue excellence in all their endeavors, despite the challenges of their current circumstance. She also began Simply Giving, which is a humanitarian initiative providing meals to families in need during the Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas season. More recently, In 2020, Marlo produced a PSA featuring her RHOA cast mates and other African American female talent at Bravo during the Covid-19 pandemic and Black Lives Matter crisis, which was distributed across NBC Universal’s television and digital platforms. She also spearheads Foster Care Friday’s alongside former GA State Representative, Erica Thomas, created to share empowering stories and bring awareness to foster care and to celebrate Champions of the Foster Care System. 

Always loving to connect with her supporters, Marlo serves as an annual speaker at the Atlanta Ultimate Women’s Expo, she hosted and executive produced “Marlo’s Closet”, and engaged followers on social media platforms with a segment coined, “Ask Marlo”! In 2015, she began producing and hosting her own nationwide style seminars “The Art of Style,” which allows attendees to get up close and personal with Marlo as she provides personal style tips, reveals celebrity fashion secrets, and interacts face-to-face with her fans in cities around the country. 

She was previously named Brand Ambassador for Diamonds Unleashed by Kara Ross and appeared as a regular guest with a styling segment on NBC Atlanta’s Atlanta and Co, a live, weekday show on events & entertainment. Additionally, she has been featured in Jet Magazine, US Weekly, People Magazine, The New York Post, OK Magazine, The Atlantan, Jezebel, and has appeared on the Wendy Williams Show. 

Marlo has also been recognized for her industry contributions, receiving awards for “Tastemaker of the Year” from Kontrol Magazine, “Fashion Philanthropy Award” from The Vision Community Foundation in Atlanta, GA, and most recently the “Outstanding Georgia Citizen Award,” from Georgia State Representative Erica Thomas.

Marlo received a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Arts and Science in 2003 from the University of Southern Florida where she studied Social Work and Interdisciplinary Science. In 2008, Marlo and her signature style opened her first high-end fashion boutique (The Red Carpet Boutique) which catered to the who’s who of Atlanta’s elite.

Marlo is currently embracing all the love and support she receives as a Munty, TV personality, philanthropist, business owner, and fashion maven! And looking forward to expanding Lé Archive to a national business over the next five years.
